FULL-TIME ADMINISTRATIVE POSITION: The Director of Operations is responsible for managing daily operations and ensuring a high-quality guest/visitor experience through Hinton’s conference and retreat center offerings on our 30-acre campus. This role involves overseeing guest services, facility use (lodging, gatherings, meetings), dining, housekeeping, and maintenance of buildings and grounds. The director of operations embodies and is dedicated to fostering an atmosphere of “radical hospitality” and professionalism that makes every visitor and staff person feel welcomed and valued. This includes not only overseeing our visitors’ stays and facility use, but also pre-booking and pre-arrival inquiries and communications, as well as maintaining a positive reputation of the Center beyond their visit, ensuring that every interaction reflects Hinton’s commitment to exceptional service and hospitality. This individual should be adept at multitasking, confident and effective in a supervisory/managerial role, capable of overseeing various departments to ensure a seamless and enjoyable guest experience, and embrace working collaboratively as part of Hinton’s Leadership Team. Strong “people” skills – relating to potential/current/future guests, staff, service providers, volunteers, and the neighbors we serve – are a must.

Full time, Monday – Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends. Drug-Free Workplace. Please send resume and cover letter to Jackie@HintonCenter.org by November 15, 2024. No phone calls, please.
