The community is invited to this special worship service on the longest night of the year. If the holidays are a difficult time for you, this is an opportunity to bring those feelings and experiences before our God, who understands and loves you. This service of hurts, healing, and hope, and loss, courage, and comfort offers a safe and quiet space to be present with others who are also seeking a meaningful holiday experience that acknowledges and honors where they are. The service will be held on Saturday, December 21, at 5pm in the Chapel at Hinton Rural Life Center. The Chapel is located off the main parking lot, to the right of and behind the Lodge. Greeters, signage, and lighting will guide you. This annual service is hosted by Hinton Center, Hayesville First United Methodist Church, and Oak Forest and Hickory Stand United Methodist churches.
