In response to the devastation, loss, and human suffering from the recent hurricane, Hinton Rural Life Center is leading a collaborative effort with area churches, neighborhoods, organizations, businesses, and individuals to prepare and deliver cleaning kits (flood buckets) to affected areas in Western North Carolina. Hinton is following the time- and field-tested guidelines of UMCOR (the United Methodist Committee on Relief) that has been on the frontlines of disaster relief in our country for decades.
