Leadership Chatuge Community Builders, in collaboration with Hinton Rural Life Center, is pleased to announce its annual Regional Resource Fair on Monday, April 8, 2024, from 5:00-8:30pm. The Resource Fair aims to bring together community-based nonprofits, foundations, and other resource organizations serving Clay, Cherokee, and Towns counties. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with a diverse array of organizations dedicated to fostering community development and growth in the region. The fair is for current participants in Leadership Chatuge Community Builders and is open to the public.

For the first two hours of the event, 5:00-7:00pm, participating agencies will meet with this year’s class of Leadership Chatuge Community Builders and alumni. Leadership Chatuge Community Builders is in its seventh year as a 12-week course offered each spring at Hinton Center for adults and high school students in the three-county area.

Then, from 7:00-8:30pm, the Regional Resource Fair is open to anyone in the community interested in learning about a variety of organizations that serve our region. The fair will feature designated tables for participating organizations to showcase their missions, services, and opportunities for involvement. Attendees can look forward to networking, informative discussions, and engaging interactions with representatives from various sectors. There is no charge and registration is not required.

Nonprofit organizations, foundations, government agencies, and community groups interested in participating as a resource provider must register by April 4. The registration fee is $25 per organization and includes display space and dinner for one person. Additional meal tickets are available for $16 per person.
