Council for Collaborative Impact Meeting

February 8 @ 8:30 am - 10:00 am

The first meeting of the Council for Collaborative Impact (CCI) in 2024 will be Thursday, February 8, 8:30-10am, at Hinton Rural Life Center’s Lodge. The CCI breakfast meetings are held four times a year and are open to any individuals  from Clay, Cherokee, and Towns counties who wish to keep abreast of services available for neighbors in our community that specifically address education, transportation, economic development, children’s issues, substance misuse, housing, and technology. The purpose is to facilitate gathering, networking, information exchange, education, and collaboration among individuals who are interested in, work in, and/or volunteer in one or more of these areas, so that the needs of our community can be met in more impactful and transformative ways.

The guest speaker for the February 8 meeting is Lorrie Ross, Mountain Projects preventionist and Clay County Progress staff writer/photographer, who will speak on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and its community impact. Following our guest speaker, updates from the CCI focus areas will be shared.

WANT TO ATTEND? Register by Friday, February 2, by emailing jeremy@hintoncenter.org or complete the online registration form linked HERE.

The meeting will be held in the Lodge Dining Room at Hinton Rural Life Center. The Dining Room will open at 8:15am to begin the complimentary breakfast service.
