Selah: Fall Clergy Renewal Retreat
SELAH . . . pause, contemplate, praise; an interlude. . . .
Save the dates for this clergy renewal retreat that offers lots of options so you can create the retreat experience that you want and need. Retreat registration fee is $90/clergy, $50/spouse; $180/clergy couple. Lodging and meals are reserved and billed separately from the registration fee. Retreat highlights include:
- Length of Stay — Participants have Oct. 1-4 (Tuesday-Friday) available for lodging; choose your length of stay when you make your lodging reservations.
- Option for private room (with ensuite bathroom) in the Ervin Retreat House, where other clergy will be housed, or reserve your own Hermitage cabin (as available); spouses may attend.
- Tuesday 5pm Welcome Gathering at our Lakeside Pavilion, with fish fry and boat rides on Lake Chatuge.
- Wednesday Options: 30-minute massage (add-on); Creative Dabbling (art fun!); conversations with ministry coach/resource Dr. Jonathan LeMaster-Smith; tai chi; clergy health/wellness resources; journaling; and soap making!
- Resource Guide of area activities and eateries provided (retreat meals are optional, for more flexibility with your time and activities)
- Hinton’s campus amenities: trails, canoes/kayaks, beautiful views, rocking chairs, fire pits, fishing, meditation gardens, labyrinth, board games, horseshoes . . .
